Welcome to the O'Connor Lab Group Website

The O'Connor Lab group is a collection of faculty, graduate students, and undergraduate students focused on marine and terrestrial ecosystem research.  Our emphasis is on food web interactions and the effects of abiotic stressors on biological systems.  Current projects include: top-down/bottom-up control of seagrass ecosystems; the effect of trail traffic on the foraging behaviour of alpine pika; grazing and predation in British Columbia eelgrass meadows.
We strive for collaborations in science and work with groups from both within, and without the UBC community including The Harley Lab, The Martone Lab, Marine Environmental Research (MER), and The Zostera Experimental Network (ZEN).
